PROJECT 1 |
TEENAGE LIBRARY
The brief was to design a library for teenagers in the borough of Tower Hamlets. The teenagers that were interviewed said that they did not feel like they had their own space in the existing libraries around their local area. Therefore, the concept for the new design proposed a space inspired by the idea of the average life of a teenager, quality of various study spaces and career aspirations. The overall design of furnishings and ways of navigating through the space reflects this windy pathway that they take to discover who they want to be in the future.
